Courier Service from Mumbai to Germany, Picked Up at Your Door

Germany is a leading European destination for Mumbai students, engineers and exporters. Students send admission papers, APS documents and certificates to German universities, families send gifts and festival items to relatives, and businesses send samples and goods to buyers. Our courier service from Mumbai to Germany collects from your address, prepares the export paperwork, and coordinates German customs clearance until the parcel reaches the recipient.

EU rules on small parcels changed in 2026, and Germany restricts meat and dairy imports, so the contents need to be checked before pickup. We do that before you pay.

Mumbai to Germany Courier Delivery Time

Most parcels reach major German cities within a week when the paperwork is complete. Our guide on international shipping mistakes lists the errors that cause the most delays.

Standard 8–14 working days Gifts, clothes, planned shipments

  • Heavy cartons: bulk personal effects and household goods. Our guide on shipping heavy items explains the options.

  • Business samples: garments, textiles, spices and product samples with a commercial invoice. Business shipments need the German importer’s EORI number.

Germany Customs, VAT and Documents

Germany follows EU import rules. At the time of writing, an occasional low-value gift of up to €45 sent privately between individuals is generally free of import VAT and duty. Parcels bought from online stores and worth €150 or less carry a flat €3 customs duty per item category from 1 July 2026, plus a €2 handling fee per item from 1 November 2026, and import VAT applies. Parcels sent from one private person to another are exempt from the €3 duty and the handling fee. Official information is published by German Customs (Zoll). Rules are changing, so we confirm the current position when you book.

Shipment type Typically required
Personal parcels and gifts Sender’s photo ID; itemised contents with values; the recipient’s full name, German address with postcode and mobile number
Documents Sender’s ID; recipient’s name, full address with postcode and phone number
Commercial goods Commercial invoice with HS codes and country of origin, packing list, IEC, GSTIN and export clearance details; the German importer’s EORI number and VAT ID

Courier Charges from India to Germany

There is no single per-kg rate for India to Germany. The price depends on chargeable weight (the higher of actual and volumetric weight, length × width × height in cm ÷ 5,000), the service level, the contents and any VAT or duty payable in Germany. Send us the weight, size and destination city and we quote before pickup.

Delivery Across Germany

We deliver to Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Cologne and other cities. Shipments arrive through a German or EU gateway and continue with local delivery partners to the door.

Address tip: include the street and house number, the five-digit postcode and city, and the name on the doorbell, plus a mobile number that will be answered. German apartment buildings often list several names, so a missing doorbell name is a common cause of failed delivery.
